Parks/Playgrounds
The city maintains ten parks across the city. Some special features include three parks with views of Lake Erie; a skateboard park and storybook trail at Ferndale Park; a dog park, and a memorial to Brookside High School alumni at Shell Cove Park. The City received a donation from Ford to install a splash pad at Guenther Park, we are hoping to have it up and running by the Summer of 2026. Boat Launch
Sheffield Lake’s boat launch is located at the west end of the city at the intersection of Lake Road and Lake Breeze. We are one of only a few communities that does not charge a fee to use the launch.
Fun Fact: Sheffield Lake’s Boat Launch was selected as the filming location for a television commercial featuring Ford trucks.
