Hometown Heroes Banner Program

The City of Sheffield Lake has a program to honor and remember local men and women who have served in the Armed Forces and have ties to Sheffield Lake.
Banners: Each banner will feature the service member’s name, branch of service, and photo.
Display: Banners will be hung along Lake Road, from Memorial Day through Veteran’s Day, in alphabetical order.
Duration: Banners will be displayed for two consecutive years, after which they will be returned to the person who purchased them.
Application Deadline: The cutoff date for applications is May 1st, 2026, to ensure the banners are processed and displayed by Memorial Day.
Late Orders: Any orders received after the cutoff will be ordered and hung the following year.

The full-color banners are printed double-sided and are 5 feet tall. The cost per banner is $130.00.
