Parks/Playgrounds
The city maintains ten parks across the city. Some special features include three parks with views of Lake Erie; a skateboard park and storybook trail at Ferndale Park; a dog park, and a memorial to Brookside High School alumni at Shell Cove Park. In 2023, the city hopes to secure grant funding for a splash pad at Gary Green Park. Learn about the unique characteristics of each park here.
Boat Launch
Sheffield Lake’s boat launch is located at the west end of the city at the intersection of Lake Road and Lake Breeze. We are one of only a few communities that does not charge a fee to use the launch.
Fun Fact: Sheffield Lake’s Boat Launch was selected as the filming location for a television commercial featuring Ford trucks.
