City of Sheffield Lake – Resident Garden Program
Grow your own garden in Sheffield Lake!
The Resident Garden Program provides individual plots for residents who want to cultivate vegetables, flowers, or herbs for personal use. Each gardener is responsible for maintaining their plot while following City rules.
Resident Garden vs. Community Garden
Community Garden:
A shared space where neighbors grow plants together, work as a team, and learn from each other. Focuses on building connections and community.
Resident Garden (City Program):
Individual plots assigned to residents for personal use. Each gardener manages their own plot. Neighbors may interact, but the focus is on growing your own plants.
